Life is a profitable endeavor. You are born naked, but they bury you in a suit.
Dying is not going out of style any time soon, and since the entire universe will someday evaporate, there may be nothing you can do that will be truly permanent.
That being said, why rush it? It's not like you are going to be left behind, and in the meantime there is a whole world that is free for your enjoyment.
Sell your TV. Stop looking at the internet. Go volunteer at a hospital, veterinarian or soup kitchen. Whatever.
Since you don't care about yourself, you should have plenty of energy to care about other people. Do something nice for a perfect stranger everyday until you cannot.
um i think about that all the time also.. but hopefully you'll never act on it cause you'll end up in a shitty psychward like me.. ill tell you place doesnt even listen to what you say..sad but true
I think it's pretty normal. I think about death quite alot now, although I have lost 4 members of my family this year so that may have alot to do with it. I'm scared of death though, I hate thinking about it but it seems to creep up sometimes.
I think about it too. I've had times in my life where I've thought about it all the time. Unfortunately, I don't have any great advice to give. Telling you to "try to forget about it" is lame, but then again, that's pretty much all I can say. After having spent hours and hours trying to come to terms with my own completely inevitable mortality, I haven't come up with a single comforting, reassuring, or strengthening thought. And in the absence of a philosophy or religion to soothe me, trying to repressrepressrepress my fears seems to be what's worked best. In terms of "philosophy" I suppose all I can advise you to do is to try to have as much fun as possible while you're alive; do you're best at school/work, and try to be kind so that you won't have any regrets and people will remember you well, and, idk, try to live in the moment, because that helps you forget.
The only thing in life you'll ever know is life itself. Death ends it all so stop thinking about it. You are wasting life's moments and every one you waste is gone forever. It's very simple when you put your fear of death aside. When death knocks at your door, then you will have a moment to reflect on the issue of death. Unless of course you overdose on heroin and then those last moments will be fogged with Ren and Stimpy reruns.
I have been sick for 15 years, I have been dying for a long time. I try to justify the reason for my selection. What is the lesson? Did I do something in a past life? How will this affect others when I am gone. I am sure that you have heard the quote "dying is easy, it's living that scares me to death". Well it's the truth, why don't you start helping others less fortunate and you will realize how rich you are, what you have to offer. People who think of death have lost interest in the real world. Only you can change you. Live, live, live, life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death.
Yes it is normal to think about dying or death. People who suffer from anxiety "fear" death. I believe that everyone in this life had thought about dying once or twice. aslong as your not having thoughts of killing yourself then i would say your as normal as normal is. Death comes to us all
Death is the most sure thing or sure things. Of course I think about it often. When all is said and done, I will have been dead far longer than I will have ever lived.
You could look at this two ways... either you think about death because your depressed and want to die, OR, your just naturally curious about death and the afterlife.
Ofcourse it is normal , i do it all the time and believe me; I go crazy. i cry , i cry and cry. i've filled huge amount of pages in my personal diary just writing about death and that i don't want to leave anyone. ): and also , i've talked about it to my mommy , she is a real help , talk about it to anyone you love. (: and you'll surely see that you don't care about dying anymore! :D *CHEERS*
Remember, if you kill yourself, give you shit away, don't be an asshole. You want to make a lasting impression on people. So say you gave your friend John a guitar. Every time he looks at it(if he can even keep it,) he will feel guilty for your death. Make sure to score some smack and get high before you do it, you will feel like god. Or shit, kill others before yourself. It's all about immortalizing yourself.
its totally normal to think about death. everyone wants to know what will happen after death. but i just say pass on your genes and make a difference.try and help out people.then youll have peace of mind when the time comes. whether or not there is life after death. its still nice knowing you helped out that person out of your own free will.

the only thing that will make it worse is if you act on your thoughts.
