This is part of the double standard of men and women. Men can admit and relish in the fact that they masturbate but society frowns on women how do. They are seen as over sexual. Some women actually internalize this idea and really do not masterbate at all. Some say they don't but really do, and some say they do and really do it. And some girls are so crazy about looking wierd that they they don't admit to doing other things too. For example, I know TWO girls, 2 I say, two girls who say that they have never in thier life, ever, pooped. They say this because "it's just something that girls shouldn't do, or admit anyway".

What I do in my private life is my business and I share that info only with who I choose to share it with.

I guess girls should only say what they want to but if they say no at a certain age you kinda have to figure that they probably have.

As wrong as it is, men, and women are held to different standards. If a guy has alot of sexual partners, he's a stud. If a chick does, then she's a whore. It's similar with masterbation. Men are sexual beings, and are expected to have sex, but women are supposed to save themselves. Thats the normal attitude. The masterbation issue stemmed from that.

If you have a pulse and genitals, masturbation is NORMAL. Do not be ashamed of a perfectly healthy activity. As for denial thats personal choice, I reckon 99% of people do it, thats way more than average so natural assumption is that you do even if you say you dont. If you dont masturbate thats not normal. Cultural differnces usualy dictate what you say and occasionally what you do. In these more enlightened times such discussion is acceptable and healthy.
