Is it normal that I enjoy spending time searching through my hair, particularly after I've straightened it, for split ends? Whenever I find a split end I have to cut it, and I find it to be rather comforting and time consuming.

Does anyone else do that?

I do it too, I don't obsess over it but I do it. Split ends suck!

I don't really care about split ends and stuff, I'm a boy, i don't care about my hair being neat. I get a haircut every, erm... 3-4 months, maybe 5 or 6. It's no big deal.
