Extreme Claustrobia?
50% Normal

Claustrophobia is most basically known as a phobia about closed spaces.

However, I discussed it with my psychology teacher, and there are different, lesser known, symptoms and triggers of claustrophobia.

I've had MRIs before, and been fine. Usually I can handle tight enclosed spaces. Though I will be quicker to freak out in one than most. Crowds I'm fine in. (I come from NY!) But here is a weird one; I freak out over things on my skin.

I'm not one for skin-to-skin contact. I love hugs, but never skin to skin I just bugs me and I feel violated and such. Some kids and teens draw on their skin when they are bored or to write notes down. I have issues looking at someone with things written on their skin, and have MAJOR panic attacks if someone tries to write on me.
However, oddly, I can handle acrylic paint getting on my hands whilst I paint.. odd thought.
Anyways, I have issues with it all, temporary to real tattoos, henna, gel pens, all of it just makes me freak out!!!!!

So I was speaking with my psychology teacher about it and she thinks it could be claustrophobia. I agree.

Now here is another addition.
I'm completely claustrophobic as far as relationships. (as in dating, not friendship) I have a boyfriend, and we just hit our 4 month. And already, I'm freaking out. I have these crazy fears that I'm denying myself opportunities with other people, that I'm missing out by being with him. So why not just break up right? Because I do really like him and don't want to break his heart and even more, it would break mine. I'm too young to know what true love is, but I know what the love you have for friends and family is, and I know I love him more than that.

Any thoughts on what to do about the relationship are well welcomed as well as about the basic claustrophobia like the skin-to-skin contact thing!
Do you think it's normal?

Maybe you are just not ready for exclusive relationships. Simple dating doesn't have to include so much commitment. Maybe some simple casual dates with a variety of people would work better for you until you build up some confidence.
Claustrophobia is not related to skin to skin contact problems. You might need to talk to someone a little more experienced than your teacher. Perhaps a psychologist?
I've considered it, but it doesn't really affect my life THAT much. And as for the relationship tidbit, it's been resolved. I simply was distracted by a few other guys but I'm doing better :]
