i think its normal- you wear make up to look more attractive, so surely it will improve the appearance of whoever wears it? Im thinking of the bravery here. I agree, eye liner on men at least, is a good look. I think brandon flowers may wanna lay off the foundation though.....

i'm a (straight) guy (but also a david bowie fan) and think minimal eyeliner on guys would be great if it was more socially acceptable. i guess girls should jsut 1) teach guys how to wear it and 2) encourage guys to wear it more often.

I think it looks sexy and I wish it was more popular for guys to wear it. Not just punky, gothy guys either. I want to see some hot investment banker wearing it. No other make up tho! Just eyeliner.

I'm a guy and I like the look. But I did come from a goth background, and just attributed it to that. Maybe I was wrong. I'm no investment banker though, just a lowly engineer.

Well, I went out with a guy for a little while and he was kinda into the goth scene, and he would occasionally wear eyeliner (when he went to clubs). In my opinion its not the its-weird-because-its-a-guy-wearing-makeup factor that bothered me; it just made him look kinda feminine. I'm not really into feminine looking guys, but if you like it, more power to you.

I think guys look awesome in eyeliner, as long as it doesnt make them feminine looking. People say its like a goth/punk guy thing, but I think a lot of guys would look good in it.

It's dumb. Life is completely pointless. We're going to die, then rot. Man kind created our whole perception of what's feminine and what isn't. God, it doesn't acually exist. It was thought up by people. I mean, who's to say pink is a girl color? Makeup is for everybody.

I don't know... maybe a very light bit of eyeliner used for dramatic effect... but I tend to like everyone, male and female, for their natural beauty rather than what they look like under three coats of Maybelline.

Eyeliner on Men is Sexy beyond BELEIF! But, it only works for some Guys (If you are a Redhead, a Light Blond or if you are too Pale, it will not work for you.)

Well most guys would think putting on eyeliner is gay. I would probably thinks its gay too for a man to put makeup on. But i have this iranian friend that looks like he wears eyeliner but he really doesnt and aww his eyes are so pretty!

I absolutely love it. I don't care if it makes a guy look "femmy" either. In fact I really like it. I'm a female and am almost certain that I'm straight, based on my experience with both sexes, but I'm really into effeminate males. I'm lucky to have found a boy who, by his own choice, wears tight hiphuggers most of the time, and eyeliner and lip gloss on most weekends!

Depends on the guy. I'm straight, not emo, and wear eyeliner. But IMO there's a very strict criteria for guys in eyeliner. First, they need to be confident, because eyeliner just intensifies your face, so if your always hiding it you look like a little... troll. And if your eyes arent brown, forget about it. Light colored eyes stand out as is, eyeliner makes them WAY to big

I wore eyeliner like since a year ago cuz my ex-gf(emo/scene) wants me to put it on, and i did. I actually Loved it. In my opinion I think its completely normal for guys to wear eyeliner, it makes them look hotter or more cute. But not ALOT of eyeliner, thats just too much for guys. I still wear eyeliner occasionally sharing wif other girls. I get comment by some grls that wtf im wearing eyeliner for. But i also get comment from other girls that they said it makes me more hotter. I like seeing myself in the mirror with eyeliner, I just LOVE IT.

Im a male, 18, and i wear a dark brown eyeliner. not heavy but just enough to make my eyes defined. I have had nothing but positive reactions from every girl i have spoken to since i started wearing it, and it is a real confidence booster.

To me, it doesn't matter who accepts it or not. I feel comfortable with it and i wouldnt be wearing it if i was afraid of being poked at.

Does it reduce the amount of light coming into your eyes. Ive seen sports people with black lines under their eyes to reduce light or is that something. BRW whatever it does Im not going to start using it just thought Id let you know

I agree with alot of the comments on pro eyeliner for guys. I have for as long as I can remember (starting in my early teens) been turned on by guys who wear (or I imagined/fantasized to wear) eyeliner). I used to think I was maybe the only woman that felt/thought that way about guys in eyeliner. It's good to see I've not been the only female that's into that look on guys. It is SUPER hot, especially before intimacy in my opinion.

I was under the impression that to be gay you have to actually have an attraction to the same sex? My personal opinion is that these supposed "straight" guys are so afraid to do anything that they view as "homosexual" because they are afraid that it will somehow turn them homosexual. I whole-heartedly believe that it is the men who are most against homosexuality that are the ones who are in denial and in the closet as far as their own sexuality is concerned.

We're in a time of body-modification and fashion...does getting a certain type of piercing make you gay anymore? Absolutely not, but at one point for instance men getting nipple piercings was considered to be highly homosexual and now you see a lot more "straight" men with these attributes. I don't see make-up (to a certain degree such as eyeliner) as anything more than a body-modification like a tattoo or piercing).

If you are a "straight" male and honestly think that by wearing make-up all of a sudden you have become "homosexual" or are afraid that you will then maybe you really need to take a DEEP look into your own sexuality...perhaps you're confused or in the "closet"?

I would think it to be more widely "homosexual" when men masturbate that a man has a male sexual organ in his hand and is playing with it to get pleasure...if you really think about it don't you think that's a little more "gay" than wearing eyeliner? If every man could give themselves head would they do it? I'm sure they would but wouldn't tell anybody because they would be afraid of being viewed as "homosexual" yet we don't see it this way when it comes to "normal masturbation".

I'm a 19 year old male and very attractive. My sisiter made me wear it once and it really looked good on me. I wear it occasionaly when I go out, and I get nothing but compliments on my appearance.

I think most men cannot pull this eyeliner business off, but those who can should wear it. All I does is make your eyes more defined.
