Face and/or hands goes numb during sex

This happens to me on occasion (I'm female, btw) and the point where we're at during sex seems to be irrelevant to this problem. It has happened at random moments during sex. Basically, part of my face, including my mouth and/or one of my hands, will go numb for several minutes. It wears off and goes back to normal usually after sex is over. Has this ever happened to anyone else or does anyone know what this is?

actually I think it has something to do with the flow of blood to an area. I am not in the medical field so i really dunno

I was gonna say... "but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night!" LMFAO

This happens to alot of people and is caused by blood flow going to your pelvic area and away from other places. normal

and I did not stay at a holiday in last night :-(
