Okay, now it's not like an animal or a seasame street character. But, I've been reading books and, i find it strange that i think of this guy, he is my age in the story, and semi normal, But i think of him constantly. I dont want to say who because I get teased enough. The fact is he is fictional! what am i thinking, I mean i dream of this guy. Anyways, i guess im asking if im alone?
Do you think it's normal?

what's your age?

when i was 14 i totally felt in "love" with Sakura Card Captors , lol...

you like the history and the chracter and think hes "your kind of guy". its not love just hope of finding someone like it... the history is meant to be entertaining... the author would be totally flattered!
I agree with the guy above, characters in books are exaggerated and romanticized specifically to make them more interestin to a reader, so it makes sense that you find them appealing :)
well im 18, but im starting to get addicted to readin him. i guess you can say. i dont know
thanx :) i guess you two are right
Stories are meant to draw you into them, i would pick up another book and read this fictional guy off.
You're a girl right??

well i think it's normal, actually i just LOVE Tsunade from naruto :D

i think she's frigging hot!
i draw her all the time and often semi-naked xD

well now enough off my perverted mind cyalater i'll normalize u xD
I'd say you're queer if you act like a girl..

All the gay's i know hang around with girl's..
But for the wrong reason's..

To mate them and not date them ! :l
It's normal, but...can you get to the root of the attraction to the fictional character? If you can really take a look at whatever fiction it's coming from and see just exactly what's attracting you, perhaps that facet of your life doesn't have to remain stilted in the pages of a book forever. Or, maybe it's just hormones?
I'm pretty envious, I always see a flaw I dislike. I'd love to be infatuated like that!
Simple infatuation.

You have fallen for this character because he is what you want in an actual living human being. It is as simple as that.
tis normal well at least i think os and i think there would be no point watching or reading something if there wasnt a character u either identified with of liked. Happens in films all the time its same thing really.
Im gunna go ahead and guess who it is judging by your age and the timing of this. Have you been reading Twilight? Are you obsessed with that freaking Edward guy? Im only saying this b.c have seen so many girls in the past few months say the same thing. My roommate who is 21 is in love with him. I know it. She named her SIMs characters after him and has a bunch of posters and pictures. She wants to name her son Edward... shes not pregnant, nor is she in a relationship of any kind. While this is sad and pathetic...and kinda wack, unfortunatly I have to say its pretty NORMAL. I think you should get a life and snap out of it.
HAHAHA no it's not, but I DO need to get a life.. thanks though
IS IT EDWARD?! lol honey thats normal. its just a phase you're going through. you'll get over it.
happens all the time. i once had a crush on a cartoon character lol its all cool
Well, we all love fantasies and life without them would be absolute dull! it's good to fall in love , because it keeps you healthy as one is jolly and blissed all the time but if it is with a person you certainly know you can never be is absolutely dumb! the feeling of looking at an actor or a model or a character of movie or a novel and falling in love ewith their qualities, styles and looks is a common thing and very normal- this is called fantasy!

But if you fall in love and think of it as real then it is troublesome! People generally fall into such love because they do not have a partner for friendship or feel that they are not loved by anyone or if they are lonely and very shy to open up for a relationship.

This will pass with time as you search for that character with which you are in love with and certainly have his physical features in your imaginations made as to what you would like to see him as! it's good to be in utopia but bad if you carry it too far and make your life a mess!

Personally I love Jason priestly more than anything on this earth and wish to love him, kiss him , sleep with him all the time but that will never happen ;still I love him and he is my darling!
Ah, that's normal. I read alot of fiction (mainly Tolkien at the minute) and whenever I read a book or watch a film, there's nearly ALWAYS atleast one character I like. Nearly every film I watch, though not all!
When I was reading the Silmarillion, I loved every male Elf I read about XDDD
Its Edwardo isnt it?
If it isnt damn girl who is it? And what book?

I have fallen in love with numeorus fictional characters and I think its perfectly normal as long as you dont expect real guys to be anything compared to your ink and paper infatuations. I loved Darcy, Wentworth, and even Edward Cullen himself. Yes I raise my hand up, proudly and declare to the world that I did love these fictional creations for quite sometime.
But thats thing they were written to be loved and adored, wasnt the girl in the story meant to fall for thier grace, beauty intelligence? Why isnt it normal for us to be enamoured by their wonderful descriptions?
As long as you don't compare other people to this fictional character, it's perfectly fine. Don't spend your time trying to end up with someone exactly like him. Find the qualities you love in the guys around you and you won't miss out on other possible loves. Good luck! ;)
I used to have a thing for Blondie from the comics (because she reminded me of a sexy neighbor we had). As long as you keep remembering he's fictional, and that others may not measure up, it's harmless. Best to you.
Dear gawd it's Edward Cullen isn't it?!??!
