fear of 666 on phone ever since...

Okay, this is freaky to the max. I remember when I was 10, I was fiddling around with my house phone and decided to dial 666 for kicks. I did, and when the call went through, IT BEGAN RINGING, and there was an answer... I can't share what the voice sounded like or what it said, but it made me wet my pants. Ever since, I've been afraid to dial 666 on any phone, and I even installed an inhibitor in my cell and home phone that prevents 666 from going through if dialed. So, should I calm down since I may be overacting, or are my fears legitimate?
Do you think it's normal?

dude just because it rings doesnt mean its gonna pick up and the voice was probly like this call cannot be connected wow you are a freak
Your fear is a little irrational. Nothing happens when you dial 666. It would be like dialing the prefix of a phone number and not the rest. There would be a long wait and then "we're sorry, the number could not be completed as dialed. Please hang up and try your call again." As far as I know, there is no service with 666 assigned to it anywhere in the U.S. (I don't know about other countries). If you're suggesting that something supernatural took place, then there's nothing I can tell you accept for that it probably was an automated system you heard. It seems when it comes to things of the supernatural, people can quickly jump to conclusions. Now that you're older, try dialing again. You will see that there is nothing to fear about the outcome.
dude ur totally tripn
