Sometimes I see potential in a certain guy. I don't exactly like him yet, but I could see myself starting to like him, but once I find out he actually does like me I get completely turned off. Does this happen to anyone else?

Oh nononono, dont EVEN worry about this one. Its human nature to want the chase, its all about the build up, the "oh i wonder if he notices me" then when he does, then its no fun anymore, so NEXT.

Wow, someone is going to end up raping you. You might want to be more careful, and make sure that the guy you are chasing has not had any sexual offences on his record.

A person who is overly competative often finds just the hint of interest from another person carries them on high for days at a time. You're trying too hard to hold on to your good looks or youth, and are a bit shallow as these things will inevitably pass. The hope is to find something your passionate about that will carry you through a long life and follow it.
