Forgot how to write my name

Recently I had an errand to run and I needed to sign for an item. I felt fine but when I picked up the pen I just couldn't remember how to write the first letter of my name. Anyway I spent almost 10 seconds starring around the room hoping this letter was printed somewhere(it wasn't). I wrote my signature and after looking at it realized I wrote the letter backwards. I was so embarrassed I just left. when I told someone close to me he laughed. Also sometimes I misread analog clocks and I keep forgetting things. I'm scared out of my skull and I hope this is normal.
I'm a physically fit female and going to be 20 this year.
Do you think it's normal?

Have you been particularly busy lately? Stressed out? That could be messing with your mind.

I don't think I'm stressed, I don't know.My mind is just hazy lately. Right in the middle of doing something I forget what I'm doing. I have to write down everything now and I can barely stay awake in class. I haven't told my parents anything but I think they r noticing. I'm hoping it goes away soon.
Don't be worried or freaked out about it!!!

Give it maybe another week and if you're still having trouble then maybe speak to your parents, friends or a health care professional.

What ever you do, don't worry about it, there will be an explanation.
Thinking about something else is it?
Preoccupied mind?
You could be stressed out, or just forgetful. This is also one of the signs of a common form of dyslexia, so if it continues to bother you then you should be checked for that possibility. If not, stress has a tendency to do strange things to people.
OMG... this happens to me too... I'm 19 and very scared! I forget a lot of things, I often have to sit and think for ages before I can remember how to do something.
But, I think it is normal, the connections between our neurons are not quick enough and this may be due to what we eat, sleep, and stress, daily life.
your long term memory might be having some problems affecting the general brain i would advise u to go to the doctors and get checked, because this might lead to more complicated problems
why not try it you might surprise yourself
With the backwards letter and the analog clock thing I had a friend that did this a lot, it was a form of dyslexia
