Is it normal that at 18 I feel ashamed at most of those who are supposedly classed as my "generation" and the teenagers who are younger than me? I am sick of people crossing the street when I walk down them with my friends because they suspect we have intentions of attacking them because of the image these wasters put across.
I honestly worry about how the world will be in the future when you look around and see the people who are getting ready to be the future adults. I walk down streets and see them littered with NEDs (You have different names for them but you know who they are; Chavs, yobs, etc.) aged between 12 - 18. All sitting outside shops drinking the cheapest, nastiest form of alcohol available. The 17 year olds with their 12 year old girlfriends. Every one wearing fake jewellery and Burberry baseball caps. Wearing tracksuits/shellsuits with the bottoms tucked into their socks, looking ridiculous into the bargain. Randomly shouting at the elderly as they walk by. Trying to start fights when they are in their shoddy excuse for a gang but flee the second anyone stand up to them. Their fags drooping from their side of their mouth, laughing at stories they tell each other which involved some poor kid getting jumped by said NED and about 5 of his friends, believing that he looks really tough. The 14 year old girls (Girls, not women, not adults) standing in bus shelters with their friends drinking and smoking away while heavily pregnant, most of whom are unsure as to who the father of the poor child is going to be.
We hear so much about how we should look out for the world due to threats of Global warming and the end of the world coming with it. How it won't affect us but our children, and our children's children. Personally, I think "f**k 'em" because with what it seems the world is going to aspire to be, we should give it a chance to start over.
He hates the teenage generation of chavs. He could give a shit about them dying from global warming.
lol
that is why i said before, 'if i was the guy with my finger over the 'destroy world' button right now, i would push it.'
I bet you're all emailing each other now worrying about little old me, occupying your little minds. Did smithee and the other cry babies seek you out for support??? How sweet and special-like a little angry man support group. Awwwww how sweet:)
I think you will find I was reading through the posts of the other story and I came across your pathetic argument. Why so much hate? Was there anything wrong with the point I made? Are you claiming you were not hippo... sorry, hypocritical?
In my grandparents day society would not have stood for such scum as the Chavs, they would have been given a thrashing by the older generation, in fact that was still the way it was in my home town in the late 1970s.
Law and the 'do gooders' that write the laws only have themselves to blame and nothing will get done until the Chavs have something to fear, ie some real punishment.
I don't know where you are from but here they have thing called "ASBOs" it stands for "Anti-Social Behaviour Order". All this amounts to is the little cunts getting a piece of paper through their door, most of whom are too illiterate to even read it, which tells them to stop being little trouble makers. If this is the biggest punishment they are going to receive they can do whatever they want as it is hardly a deterrent. I even read somewhere that nowadays most little NEDs are even using the ASBOs as a "badge of honour" as it is really the only thing in life they will ever achieve in life.
Im from the Midlands, NE Derbyshire, in the UK and although we dont hear much of the ASBO's they are commonly known about.
Around here they dont even seem to get any form of punishment other than the Police occasionally issue a 'dispersal order' which means that the chavs have to disperse and go home if they are in large groups and 'up to no good'.
As soon as the police have issued these orders and gone on their way, the Chavs come straight back out.
Its society in general, when I was a lad I lived on a estate that was generally full of good working class people of which the majority where coal miners.
Im not exaggerating when I say that you had no need to lock your house doors because it is simply what you did, you would go out and leave the doors unlocked because there was no such thing as theft from houses on the estate.
I also recall that during the same era all the kids respected their elders and you addressed everyone from the generation above you as Mr or Mrs so and so. You treated people with respect because if you didnt it would get back to your parents and they would, 'straighten you up' !!!!
It was a brilliant place to live and grow up in in the 1970/80s........ now... the same estate..... you wouldnt dare walk its streets at night.
We need a revolution and we need it quick. Out with the 'do gooders' and in with the good old fashioned penal system.
Todays system failures start at school where the poor old teachers cannot and dare not repremand the kids and its all down hill from there on, thanks to the 'do gooders'.
I have my own son now and he is just approaching 4 years old, he already knows right from wrong and when he crosses the line he gets a little 'slap'. People say they cant believe it that I give him a little tap and my response is to point to the streets and say hes not going to end up like those lawless, selfish, arrogant bastards out there !!!
It worked for me and I see now reason it shouldnt work for him.... but.... the schools also need to take similar action at junior level, because thats when the kids pick up there first habits and thats where it (society)goes wrong.
It needs tackiling at an early age and with regards the parents themselves that arent bothered what their kids are up to because they sit at home all day spending the tax payers money, they want prosecuting themselves for negligence and when a kids brought up in an environment like that, its inevitable that their offspring will do the same.
A vicious and never ending circle it would seem.
who r u????
Maybe if you kept your legs shut through childhood and had an education the state of your reply wouldn't look like one of an angry five year old scribbling with her crayons.
About the teenagers, dont worry about the kids. Our parents were hippies, and tripped off acid, and just look how they turned out =)

annoying 18 year olds in a few years will have nothing left, and they wont be so annoying. PS. I hate burbery, I hate people who wear the labels on the outside of their clothes to make them look stolen, I generally dislike most deliberate skinheads, I dislike even more people many of the wimpy-ass chavs that think their manly when they insult you, but wouldnt fight you if you were a paraplegic. Call me a snob, but I guess I'm more of a non-conformist, I hate people who feel they 'have' to hang around in groups (and I have friends), have no personality of their own, and are rude and offensive for no reason._Rant over
basically, don't worry about it, my Dad's generation (he says) were bad as well. It's not the end of the world, its just the sad fact of life that many of the tossers in the world wont
have happy lives when they're older, its always been the case. I think more could be done about it, its the fact there is no functioning moral system, and many of the poor in this country (England), are full of despair, becaus etheir subject to a defeatist and lousy system, which they can't easily escape from (blame Thatcher)
