I was recently driving my gran down the motorway. I was going pretty fast and she asked me to slow down. It was quite funny seeing her so scared!
Anyway, once I was in the slow lane being overtaken by tractors and pushbikes I noticed she was watching all the other vehicles and shaking her head, "Eeeh, they won't get there any faster!" she proclaimed.
I did a quick maths sum in my head and came to the conclusion that by travelling faster, you would get somewhere more quickly. This led me to think of another of my grans favourite sayings, "Education these days is rubbish, what with your fancy compulators and wot-not" (compulators! hah, she's mad!)
So, yeah, if she was taught so well, why does she think going faster won't get you there more quickly? Does anybody else have a mad granny who speaks utter bollocks? Is my gran normal?
She also hated "the blacks", but hey no ones perfect.
