Green Poop
I have a question that has been asked thru the ages, why the f**k is poop green sometimes. What the f**k is up with that? Does it mean we are sick? Is it normal to wonder?

So I got back home that night and took a shit again and sure enough it will still green. I immediately turned my computer on and typed "why am I shitting grean?" and it through my to this link. I felt more calm after reading everyone's story and realized that appartently I'm not the only one shitting green. I also realized that I've been shitting green because I had two bowls of Captain crunch berry's that my wife gave me.
If I remember, grape products can turn your shit green. I seem to recall that happening if I drink lots of grape juice.

If you have a really BAD diet with lots of food coloring! Your poop can turn green.
It is really noticeable if you drink grape kool-aid or gatorade...Give it a try!

Most of the time it is the color of chocolate, than I have the green terds and sometimes I have a really light brown colored crap
I think green terds are normal. I have them and when my son was a baby and I had to change his diaper I know that he had them as well.

I have consulted with a doctor, a physiologist and a microbiologist on this question, and the following summarizes their answers:
Healthy people can have green poop if they eat a diet rich in leafy green vegetables, or if they consume large quantities of food coloring (in ice cream, cake frosting etc.).
Green poop can also be caused by excess iron in the diet, from dietary supplements, for example. If the body does not absorb all the iron consumed, the iron may stain the poop green, the color of iron (II) salts. Ordinarily, the green color may be masked by the normal brown poop color, but if digestion is thrown off by illness so that bilirubin is less concentrated in the intestine, the green color may become apparent. This can happen when a person is afflicted with diarrhea.
Green poop in sick babies may come from iron in baby formula not being properly absorbed, or by green pigments in bile salts (again, green from iron).
