Once I had a Black Cherry slushie at Burger King and it turned my poop green, it was fucking hilarious lol, even my mom told it me it happened to her.

It could've been salmonella poisoning thats what happened to me when i had it... i know this was months ago (just saw it on dlisted) but you could still have a bacterial infection and that could give you problems later on so you should get it checked out.

It's from bile salts. These are processed in your liver and not the kidneys, hence they are secreted in your shit and not your urine. 3 bottles of red wine drinker, you should see your doctor...your liver might be failing.

For a while, I was in the habit of eating cherries jubilee ice cream from Baskin-Robbins after a morning walk. That made my copious poop a rather bright green.

This is crazy. My poop is Christmas tree colored green. Instead of freaking I'm chalking it up to the fact that there was a lot of blue dye in the flowers on the piece of cake I ate last night at work. But you guys made me feel better during my freak out. thanks!

I read most of them, then i realized i had a box of lucky charms last night, and the last time i ate lucky charms was when i was 5 before yesterday. that was 16 years ago. I went to my moms house today and all of a sudden I had this big urged to take a shit. After the relief of taking a shit I was wiping my ass and all went in shock when I saw the color bright like guacamole on my tissue. I look down in the toilet and I see a big green turd floating.

So I got back home that night and took a shit again and sure enough it will still green. I immediately turned my computer on and typed "why am I shitting grean?" and it through my to this link. I felt more calm after reading everyone's story and realized that appartently I'm not the only one shitting green. I also realized that I've been shitting green because I had two bowls of Captain crunch berry's that my wife gave me.

For a real freak out, during the fall go to Baskin and Robbins Ice cream shops. They usually have a Black Licorice Ice Cream for the season. It is totally jet black. Eat a large cone or dish. It tastes awesome. BUT, the next day when you shit you will have jet black poop.

If I remember, grape products can turn your shit green. I seem to recall that happening if I drink lots of grape juice.

So i looked it up and this link popped up and i figured it out!!! Its the Cool Blue Gatorade that i have been drinking at work!!! Freakin A!!! I just came from teh restroom and you get where im goign at and it was green... nothing changed out of my diet... then i read "pww006" comment... I had a Monster Energy Drink Slurpee.... it was purple and i would assume a "Black Cherry" slushie would be the same collor so... that explains it.... other than that when i was little I use to eat thoes Raven vials of sour shugar... and that did it to me everytime...

We noticed that a monster energy drink, that was purple in color, from 7-11 caused this. It was a slurpee and like 5 different people all had it happen, bright green poop. Weird but true. I wonder whats in it that causes people to sh** green. It cant be healthy.

When food doesn't spend enough time digesting, whether it because you ate something that didn't agree, or drank too much alcohol, it comes out green or a shade closer to green than brown on the color wheel. Or it could be because you ate alot of green food or green food coloring.

If you have a really BAD diet with lots of food coloring! Your poop can turn green.
It is really noticeable if you drink grape kool-aid or gatorade...Give it a try!

I used to drink Grape Powerade and Blue Gatorade it'd be a darker green color, Natural Grape Juice wont usually affect it though, nothing to worry about. Weird tho...lol

Prenatal vitamins & vitamins high in iron can cause your poop to be green. Also IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome) can cause it too. If it continues for more than a couple of days, see you doctor just to rule out anything serious.

haha i have green poop alot but i have IBS and i started having instense pains on my sides so i had to get a colonoscopy it was quite fun! haha jk its not fun but u dont feel a thing so ya if u dont have IBS and keep having green poop ask ur dr.. its prob nuthing but just to be safe!!
