When I was in middle school my family got our first dog. Everyone in the family thought her antics were cute, including her eating habits. Two words: Endless pit. Whenever I ate in front of her the begging she would do would make my food stop tasting good to me. That greed in her eyes, that focus! I'd never give her food like that. To this day, I think pets begging for human food is repulsive. Is it normal to think this behavior is not cute?

I agree. It is not responsible as a pet owner to teach such an annoying habit & that also ridicules the pet.

It is those who think pets begging for food are cute who have the problem, not you.
