Haven't been on a vacation for 7 years?
I am a 20 year old college student, and I haven't been on a vacation for 7 years now. I feel really bored and left out as I see many of my peers at work and at school getting to go visit other states all the time, and here I am never going anywhere because I have no one to go with. My parents dont want to go anywhere until they retire, my friends go with their families and/or girlfriends, and I never have a girlfriend to go with. Am I normal?

If you want to go on a vacation, by all the means you have go. You only live once.

Exactly, I want to go, but have absolutely no one to go with. And I'm not going to go by myself. That's my problem...

You say you have friends though. So plan a trip somewhere - long or short - with them. If they are not interested, expand your pool of friends.

Traveling by yourself is great. You can do whatever you want whenever you want. I also tend to meet more people when I am alone. Most recently went to Thailand by myself and had the time of my life. Met lots of cool people from all over the world.
