Health and Safety Bollocks
I am doing a charity fund-raising walk this weekend. We are walking up a small mountain (just over 1000m) and then walking back down. It's about a 5 mile round trip and apparently will take about 4-5 hours. Yeh, right. It's only 5 miles!
Anyway, the organisers are checking each individual before it starts, to make sure they have the correct equipment. Torch, map compass, whistle, warm blanket, food, spare clothes, watch, waterproofs. What a fucking list! It's 5 fucking miles! It's not even that high!
All the fun is taken out of everything these days with all this safety shite. If someone gets lost/dies on the walk it'll probably be their own fault for being a stupid fat fuck-ass.
So, is it normal that health and safety regulations make me seethe with furious rage?
