Id say theres back up data left on it or you havent deleted songs properly. Try formatting it if that doesnt help return to manufacturer for service
Ok ty, Ill try doing that
It also depends on how long your songs are....

Pink Floyd does not fit the "average song is 3.5 minutes" deal or whatever it is. You know that it's better measured in total playtime, right?
Mp4 Player, huh? Is it one of those chinese iPod knockoffs? Those things are horrid. My ex-gf had one of those and she always had problems like that.

If you want a decent player with about that capacity, Creative makes some fairly affordable models.
this has happened to me before also at school. you cant control it and its sooo akward but nothing to worry about
Check the bit-rate of the songs. Make sure that they are around 128kb/s or 112kb/s. Or, have it on mono, so it would be half the bit-rate. The higher the bit-rate, the better the quality of the audio, but it uses up more space. If your songs have changed, then they are probably better quality of audio. I suggest you format the MP3(4) player, and then change the bit-rate for smaller file sizes. Search on Google on how to change the bit-rate.
