high school sucks? - 74% Normal

why is it that every time i make friends with someone, were good with eachother for a few months and they think im pretty fun to be around and stuff, and then all of a sudden they just start turning into aholes and start making fun of me, laughing at me behind my back, and then they usually just stop liking me.

this is happening with A LOT of the people I know, in fact most of them. Even some people who ive been friends with for years.

Is there something im missing here? is this normal?

Yes it's normal, ask some real friends about your personality so you can see what you are.

yeah its normal. i think you just need to find out who your real friends are and stick with them.

yeah you should talk to your friends and see how they think of you then if they don't think well of you ditch them and go looking for a new group it once happened to my friend all of his friends suddenly gotten it to some stupid stuff and he didnt want to do it so they started talking about him and stuff so he got rid of them and joined me and my friends

Yea it is normal they are all just using you for something or just being nice to you because they felt bad for you for some reason.

maybe you're the problem. they've gotten to know you, that they've learned what kinda person you are, and realized you're not so great. sorry?

I don't think it means that there is anything wrong with you or your personality or that you did anything wrong.

People are often very immature in highschool and do nasty things for no reason at all, then after a few years they grow up and ask themselves why the hell they behaved that way and the things that happened in school won't even matter anymore.

If the way your descrbing the situation is the whole truth then I would say that there's nothing the matter with you. Teenagers like to pick on certain qualities that not everyone has. Maybe there's something about you thats different and since their teenagers, they see it as a target. Remember though their only high schoolers don't let them break you.
