Like I said before, I'm very disapointed in you, Will. Invading people's privacy to "prove" that they may be a homophobe (although they're not scared of them. They're just against it). Please don't take the bible out of context anymore. If you want to prove a point, try a different tactic.

actually, the shellfish law only applies if you are jewish, if you are a christian you don't need to follow that law. And as far as what is generally taught in the christian church it is hate the sin love the sinner. We all sin, so yes, I believe that it is a sin to be gay, but I don't judge people based on that.

hold up.... if god really hated gays why did he make a such thing as a gay person? i mean gay people dont have the choice of being gay! so almighty god could change it right coz hes almighty! so why doesnt he change gays into being straight? oh and in somewhere in the bible it seys god wants his people to be happy? wtf! what if gay people are turely happy being gay! and shouldnt god himself look at the heart not at what the person is? what if a gay person has got a huge heart and does alot for others and is like an extremely good person, but he/she ends up in hell for something that gay person has no control over? i dont understand it. i mean people make out your going to hell for anything or for everything! it just seems unfair to me that god would send someone to hell for something they had NO CONTROL OVER!! they didnt choose to be gay you know.

Amen to that! That's why I don't attend church - I refuse to sit in a room with people who either got drunk the night before, beat their wife and kids (you get the picture).

I know one "Christian" who refused to let his white daughter go to back to the pool all summer because she was "too dark" to be seen in public. I just wanted to slap the shit out of him!

There are too many "Christians" who are intolerant of other people and do not have enough knowledge of their own religion to do anything except be a danger to themselves and others. I also have issues with the people who go door to door to convert people. I really want to yell at them, but I tend to be too nice, and I feel that it wouldn't be the christian thing to do, and I don't want to have to make that argument with them. Door to door evangelism in my opinion turns more people away from religion than it brings to religion. And the pork and shellfish laws only apply to the Jews, not the Christians, if I were really good, I'd go find evidence to support this, but I'm not that good right now. All that being said, I'm amazed that this thread has gained so many comments considering that the original story itself is fake.

The bible has been interpreted and rewritten over and over again. Nothing in the Bible is a hundred percent. I do believe that everyone has their right to their opinion but i also think that things shouldn't be thrown in people's faces. I'm gay and it's not a problem if someone doesn't like me, cause that's their problem, they have to live with it.

And homosexuality rests in the genes and environment grown. It's been proven that species will change to survive. That's why their are animals who are omnisexual. Containing both male and female organs. It's been proven in science that when in an environment with several male populus, it's more likely for someone gay to be born due to the lack of necessity for reproduction.

I'm confused here. Are you angrey she dislikes gays or that she dislikes gays for religious reasons? If its the latter would it be ok if she had other non religious reasons? Or are just mad because she dislikes gays? And if that is the case is it because you're gay? Or have a gay friend? or a gay relative? Those are the old testament virtures that were left to the Jews. The gentiles, who are the Christians, are to follow the New Testament. There are some areas of the Old Testament that the everyone is to follow.

However, I do believe that if a child misbehaves, he should be beaten savagely.

The point of not eating pork and shellfish back then was because there was no proper way to cook it. Slavery is not accepted by the Bible. If it does, please give me the exact passage in the King James Version. Otherwise, shut up? Kk?
