I've always liked applying a hefty amount of pepper to any soup that is served to me before I even taste it.
This has surprisingly caused quite the stir among my peers, some looking away with great disdain, while some hail this as one of the few true marks of the modern connoisseur. what do you guys think? am i crazy? is the world going mad?
My dad does it all the time. Pepper in his clam chowder.
The spice is there for a reason - to flavor food with it. So what's so abnormal about putting some spice in soup to give it that extra little kick?
