I always have to make facial expressions as I read them

For instance if i'm reading a book and the book says "she winked" i automatically wink, and if it says "he smiled at her" i grin like an idiot.
people often ask me why i'm winking and smiling and such to my book and i don't really know why i do it.
Do you think it's normal?
