I am so bad at art, sometimes it makes me wonder why I like it so much.
I want to get an art degree and become an artist but my art sucks!
Is it normal to like something I'm so bad at?
Do you think it's normal?

Totally. I am exactly the same. I am somewhat good at crafting, but I can't really paint or draw, yet I love to do it all the time. I wish I was awesome at it, but I certainly am not.
YA! normal! I always wanted to be a lawyer but i cant argue a point AT ALL!
Woah! Looks like you and I have some things in common! I also want to be an artist but I kinda suck at drawing. Don't worry, just keep trying and maybe one day you'll be an artist!
Sure its normal... think of it like this: someone who can't run very fast wants to become a professional football player.
Bad at art?
That's not possible because everyone has different parameters.
"Art" does not just mean realistic drawing or painting. Go to school; learn what you can. Art is about the creative process.
HA!! your silly there is no such thing as good Art
And there is no such thing as perfection....There is such thing as your own style, if you feel you want to become an Artist because that's where your heart lies. Do it. Don't regret not doing it and miss your great opportunity to achieve your goal....
Keep drawing.....
Think of Van gogh .....and look at his drawings....

good luck with your Artist dream
I would say it's worth exploring. There are many different kinds of mediums. I was discouraged by art teachers because of my not very good drawing and painting abilities but I ended up as a very admired computer graphics artist.
Interesting question. I guess by being good you may mean able to support yourself, move yourself & others with your work etc.

Could be you haven't hit your stride or found your niche. So pursuing it may yet pay off. But what if it doesn't? What if it only makes you happy to do it? Thats pretty nice too.

Of course we all have to eat. But you can consider educational options that would still allow you to pursue/explore your art. You know - the business side, gallery, or educator - that sort of thing.
Of course it's normal!
Everyone desires career's that they are not necessarily good at.
Sometimes I wish I was a well known singer but I'm not that good at singing if you get what I mean.
Why do you want to be an artist?
personally i've experienced in my life that if you are not a natural artist, you will never be good at it.
i'm a naturally talented artist and i'm very good at it, but it's not one of the many things i enjoy doing the most.
but hey, try as hard as you can and maybe you'll get somewhere, who knows.
Of course its normal everyone desires to be great at a profession that they may not be necessarily good at. For example I have this little secret fantasy that 1 day i'll be a singer but my singing is crap and I doubt it will ever happen unless I get singing lessons from a pro.
I agree with afleyx - I'm also a naturally talented artist who was given a golden ticket to become an artist. After studying visual art for years I can now draw shockingly realistic images. But it's not something I enjoy doing, so I'll let months go by without drawing anything. I'd rather be a singer or a lawyer or a businessman. The creative process is what counts. Look at Andy Warhol. Some universities' art schools focus entirely on the conceptual side of art as opposed to classical training. The bottom line is: if you like art, then you are not bad at it.
I'm also a "naturally" talented artist but I couldn't disagree more about someone not being able to learn art. Everyone is born with certain proficiencies but that only takes you so far. If you want to be a great artist (or great at anything for that matter), you have to do what every other great artist has done and work your butt off at it. Study the form of everything until you can conceptualize it in your head. Then you can start to manipulate those forms for your own art. It's a process but completely doable. Worst case scenario is that you have a hobby that makes you happy.
