A while ago I was really into cocaine, and I didnt really eat while I was on it. A few years before that (when i was 15), I did have an eating disorder, so I know what it feels like. But when I quit blow and got over feeling sick, I realized that I hate food. I am always hungry, and no matter how much of anything I eat I will always be hungry at least half an hour later. My mother told me it was a gluten allergy, but that was before she knew I was getting over my addiction. It has been almost two months since I last used, but Im slowly running out of things to eat. not because I cant afford food, and not because I want to lose weight. Food does not make me sick, and it doesnt scare me. Its just boring. I feel like Ive eaten the same things my whole life, and they all get old after a few bites. Yesterday I got so hungry I was debating suicide. I cant talk to my mom because she says that Im spoiled, but I cant relate to that statement. I tried talking to my doctor, but she says she cant help. A nutritionist would tell me what to eat, but I already know that Ill get bored of whatever they suggest.
p.s. - I am sorry, I dont have an apostrophe key.
Or, you can take nutritive supplements via syringe with hunger suppressants.
Now the main issue your going to have as far as food is concerned is that when we eat the body produces endorphins a chemical that makes you happy.
Cocaine causes the mass production of dynorphin which is from the endorphins family however it produces crazy amounts of the stuff more than eating food ever would.
So you will get very little pleasure from eating, it will get better over time the body does an amazing job of repairing itself but that's talking six moths to a year.
So I'd say it's normal... I'd advise on eating small amounts of food during the day. Have 5 to 7 small 'interesting' meals during the day and start jogging. You'll feel better! ^,^
i have to admit i usually have a good appetite, so basically i feel bad for you and hope you can find something appealing! also it's important to eat regularly and not in spurts, and ideally something healthy... try foods high in fiber, they make you feel fuller.
i know that's what happened with me. i was so starved. i'd gone two weeks without eating during my last coke binge. and recent events have forced me to stop and even still i feel this intense hunger. metaphorically and literally.
i am not bashing coke. if you like it, do it, if you don't, then don't. but when you become addicted to it, you hate everything. you even hate the coke. coke is no longer fun. coke is a chore.
this is normal.
therefore, lack of food is reminicent of fun.
you get the idea....
