I Don't Like Tanning

I was born with very light skin and blonde hair though at the moment my hair is a dark red. I have nothing against people who tan though I do laugh when the tan is so baked you can tel it was horribly faked. I went to the beach other day and I had so much fun I forgot to stay under my umbrella so I have a slight tan and have been trying to find way to get rid of it. I always use skin lightening creams to get a pretty pale/fair look but not an "omg michael jackson" kind of white. (and no that's not making fun of him i'm just trying to make it clear that i'm not aiming for THAT kind of white".

My family make fun of me because I like wearing long skirts and long sleeved shirt when i go outside to the avoid the sun and I constantly spray sunblock on me. I just don't like the look of tanned skin on myself and prefer the almost old time aristocratic appearance of creamy skin.

Normal or crazy? lol
Do you think it's normal?

I say good for you!! I was born with a very pale skin tone and hate heat. so I can't stand people who are tanned, i find it repulsive.
Absolutely normal. Just look at Nicole Kidman--pretty porcelain skin. Not to mention you'll spare yourself a good deal of skin damage and wrinkling.
its normal people dont like having tanned skin some people do its allright.
Normal and very sexy
I mean that pale skin is alot sexier then tanned
I am just the same, I think it's perfectly normal. Creamy white skin is so beautiful.
I am like this too! My dad's quite dark-skinned with black hair and my mum's fair and blonde, and I got the pale skin with the back hair. I don't tan really (I just burn then go back to white) but I hate the idea of going brown because I really like having porcelain skin. I think it is aristocratic and ladylike, and much more striking than the standard plastic tan people seem to want nowadays.
Normal!! I do it too. My motto is "the paler the better" Tanning isn't for everyone tho being pale goes with my style^v^
