Not to mention the Gateway and the two or three Dells. All of them have moved from Family computers to personal ones passed down for me or one of my 4 siblings and my 4 parents. There's also a laptop in the mix and my two gramma's computers. A max and a really old PC. None of the Mac's have ever run into that problem that I am aware of. Seeing as how yours is a mis matched on from lose parts laying around the house maybe its just a problem with the fact that it wasn't built as a whole.
