When I was younger, I loved being around people and would be extremely bored if I wasn't. I thought I just had to be going somewhere or doing something. Now that I am a little older, been cultured a little more, met plenty of different people from all walks of life, and lived in a variety of different places (including England), I have found that I really don't care for MOST people or most people's children. The sad thing is, it is VERY difficult to find a GOOD friend or significant other. The majority of people only care about themselves and don't give a rats-a** about being a loyal friend if there isn't something in it for them. Years ago, everyone knew everybody in their neighborhood, spoke/waved when they walked out the door and now either ppl don't have time or don't care to "get involved." People in this day and age are very rude, impolite, and all about "me" It is awfully sad, but if you do find a good friend - hang on to that person for the rest of your life and do "your part." If someone is blessed enough to have just ONE true friend in their lives, they are lucky. It's not about quantity, it's about quality!

Im a little antisocial. i can sometimes force my self to blend and converse with people.Mostly i get bored and feel out of place and i desire to get away and go home - or go shoping.

I would have to say that it is normal. I know people like you. They aren't very social but you can tell they are happy with how they are, and if you are happy with it, then don't worry about it. Eventually you most likely will find friends. It's not a bad, freaky thing to talk to other people so don't flip out. It's perfectly normal.

having friends can encourage you to improve yourself if you choose the right ones but sometimes being alone can be better. Sometimes i prefer to be alone to do whatever i want without any hassles and interruptions but at other times i still think its better if i have at least one good friend

i'm kinda the same. although i like meeting new people and talking. but alot of the time the people i do hang around with and go drinking with although yes i do like to be with i don't feel that i'm friends with them just people i know

Well said rvovum, most people's interest extend no further than to that which they find pleasing, even with regard to friends. So long as you have something to offer, people will find you interesting and want to be around you. However, if you are perceived as uninteresting, its more likely that you are VERY INTERESTING but the people you run into are not finding something in you they want. Occasionally, you will find a true friend, dont pass that up.

Im the oposite. Im nice to everyone and they all hate me for no reason. Im a loner without choice. I suggest if you can get friends, get them. Because with everyone against you, you'll soon be the next school shooter.

me too! whew glad i'm not the only one . Nothing is wrong with me or anything. I'm friendly enough and i could keep a conversation going.. but idk.. lol i just don't like anyone, i find most people annoying.

To me it's is but it isn't normal. Try to get along with people, you could find people you like to hang with.
