I really think this is weird, when i go into a resturant with my family and theres a family/person getting mad or complaining about something, i have no idea why i like it, what do you think is it normal or not

I could definitely see one of those awkward moments happening where you're talking about the waitress or something and your friends suddenly become quiet and then you realize that he/she is right behind you.
