When I'm at home, I use my hands and feet to go up the stairs, like a dog. I don't do this out of my house, and I don't do it going down the stairs. Is I normal?

Totally. I do this too, especially on those really steep stairs, it keeps me from pitching forward or backward.

It seems like the kind of thing I would do when I am home alone. But to do that when you have company WOULD be weird. : ) There are many things that are normal as long as you keep them to yourself!
