No, i'm pretty sure that's not normal...what exactly is it that bothers you about guys?

While it is normal, it is not healthy. You need to find out what is causing these thoughts and deal with them.

If you have a default setting of "all men are evil" you will live a pretty sad life, as men are roughly half of the population.

There are, to be sure, bad men. We just had 8 years of bad men running the country (or, if you prefer, 8 years of GREAT PATRIOTS, running things,) and now things have changed. You can either think that Obama is a good man and thereby reduse your good/evil dichotomy as far ans men go, or you can think that Bush/Cheney were wonderful men and have the same result. It all depends on your political leaning.

At the end of the day, you must remember that there are good men and bad; just as there are good women and bad. If you accept that fact, you will have a much richer and less fearful life.

yes its pretty normal, i hate men too. but to be practical the harm would be on your side. You will be consuming yourself with this eternal hatred. i dont say you should compromise, but think men as an inevitable thing in life. you cannot change their attitude but you can change yours. and to be happy you must find your self goal and what really is that you want to do with your life. its again like we never hear men say that they hate women, so it's really not worth thinking over them when they dont care.

Well, I'm a guy so the most I can say is that I don't know. From my guy perspective I would say yes, but my perception sucks, so my opinion is pretty unreliable. I can sorta see where you're coming from though, cause sometimes I think my own gender acts really dumb. At this exact moment I could be unconsciously acting like a retard.

you're normal. everyone hates certain things, and you just happen to hate men. why is your reason. if you look at it, everything bad that guys do, girls do the same. sometimes worse. hey, they do the same good that guys do too, but that's a story for another time. you shouldn't hate guys for what one guy did to u or what your friends tell you about their boyfriends. you just haven't met the guy that you don't hate. of course, you won't meet him if you keep hating them all. look at a guy as a person, not as a guy. you'll see, there are those few of us who aren't all that bad. i used to go about the same way about girls, but then i met this one and my world just changed. i didn't go out with her, but she was so amazing that it made me look at my current preception of the situation.

I am a misandrist, and no it is not normal, though sometimes I feel it should be, considering how women are viewed and treated.

That is not to say it is right, because it is not. I am struggling to not be sexist, but it is hard when I see examples of so many douchebag males every day (my over-sexed brother being a prime example).

I have been sexually abused, verbally abused, used, cheated on, beaten up, etc. I've watched other girls put their heart and soul into relationships just to find out that their guy was just using them for sex. I've read and heard so many comments like Chakmak's.

My view is obviously colored by experience. I know there are some good guys in the world. I just feel they are few and far between. I'm not really willing to sort through 600 douches to find 1 decent guy.

it's good that you're thinking about this hatred, rather than simply feeding it or leaving it be. there isn't a logical reason to hate an entire gender; but, you may feel that all men are the same as each other because of the ones that you know or have met. i'm a man, and i hope that if we ever meet that i have the chance to show you something to not hate about men! good luck.

Misandry is the term for it. It can be a really hurtful thing is wielded the wrong way. I would recommended getting to know men. I know that after having spent my last three years or so living with my husband and two different male roommates (not to mention hanging out with their friends) I've come to understand and like guys a lot better than before. I mean at first I HATED my husband's friends. They were terrible! Then I got to know them and slowly, I came to see them not as guys but as people. I've been with some of them in the best and worst of times. I've seen a few of them cry. When you really get to know a man, not just one you love, but a friend, your attitudes about them change a lot.

Sweetheart, women can be just as terrible and useless as men can. You're proving it with your hate blasting. I know plenty of women who have ruined men's lives just because they "weren't getting their way" or "totally thought he was cheating." THOUGHT mind you. Just thought. Not even having proof. Be it by crying rape or abuse, women have a very big upper hand when it comes to things like that. All they have to do is point that finger and cry. I know a man who came to me with knots and bruises from being beaten by his girl. He didn't fight back because she had already filed false claims that he was beating her. The cops told him he could take care of himself since he was so big. Being big doesn't stop a knife or a gun. I'm just happy he got out of there while he still could.

I'm a woman myself and I believe in gender EQUALITY. Lately people who preach gender equality have started turning that into female elitism. That is WRONG. Just as wrong as male elitism. And don't you forget it.

one i don't listen to the radio that much nor believe it alot of my critisism comes form personal exprices. when i was in 7th grade i was the one the guys made fun they made my life misrable day in day out i just got so crazy with rage and vented all my anger on to this site it seeems like i pissed alot of people off and guys are always out to annoy me but i'm trying to ingnore them but you sound a little more sencile than the others than resoponed. but i have a question for you don't you think that girls who plastic surgrey for thier boyfriends or to lookm like some celebrity aren't they confroming to what people want them to be?

A lot of Women dislike Men. But it's usually because they've had bad experiences with them or have never got to know good kinds of people.
