I hate commercials

I dont watch alot of tv maybe about 20 hours a days worth thats it but the commercials are driving me off the deep end. I keep seeing the same ones like the "free credit report.com" or the "geico cavemen" and some commericals get really loud and almost take my ear drums out i have to put the tv on soft mute when commercials come. What im getting at is i just want to take a gun to my head and finish it i can no longer take anymore of the same commercials trying to brain wash me. I think if i blow my brains out and leave a suicide note that reads " Im sorry but this was the only way, the free credit report guy made me do this i feel that he should be taken off tv and this is the only way i could get the world to listen to me." Something like that so then maybe others culd see the light these commercials have ruined my marraige and my life they have caused me to quit my job and have prevented me to look for another one. I have 50 dollars left to my name and rent is due friday im going to be out on the streets soon so I think that is good reason to sit in my garage and crank the car up and wait to fall asleep.

Just change the channel when a commercial comes on. That's what I do, my hands always on the remote.

I love commercials. We had an assignment to do a rhetorical analysis of commercials, identifying audience and persuasive strategy, and it was a lot of fun. Pretend they're little plays.

I hate commercials too! Some are funny but some are just plain retarded.

I think you should get a dog then ask him to sit when the tv goes to commersials! You will end up with a trained dog and wont be bored when commersials come on!

Americans get a stupid amount of adverts. It's freaky.

The BBC over here has no adverts at all, and neither do a few other channels. Sky movies lets you watch the film uninterrupted.

The Thing is, TV and Radio programs would not exist if it weren't for Commercials. I understand that....But there needs be a more constructive approach than SHOVING commercials down our throat. I HATE FRICKEN COMMERCIALS!!!! Especially the ones that are annoying, have annoying music, And the content.... Damn, I don't need male enhancement (but some do) I don't need Vaigra or Cialis (Get a New Chick or Hooker if your ol lady can't get a rise outta yehz...Geeze) And this Sh!t gets shoved down our throats everyday...I hate'm! The ones I do like? The little Investor Toddler kid with the Blackberry, Investing..that is funny. I like FLO on Geico with her sarcastic ass...And I like the Geico Cavemens Bad Attitudes. and the one where the guy Smashes dudes Flat screen tv with a Game Controller..Hilarious!
OTher than that all other commercials can go to hell..

I've hated idiotic commercials ever since I was a kid in the 70s watching Saturday morning cartoons. They are an insult. I think that in a fascist or communist dictatorship the same thing would be called 'propaganda', but here in the States the ass-sucking corporations make our propaganda...

I think you meant 20 hrs a week. You can't say you don't watch alot of TV and then say you watch 20 hrs a day. Just turn the commercials off like I do (or mute them)

I can't believe so many people actually like watching commercials... every day, while watching TV, while surfing in the internet, while walking on the street. The society is sick.

I don't watch TV at all. Reason: I can get everything (and even more) from internet... you can spend all day watching TV with It's boring serials and mainstream news... and never see the truth. TV doesn't teach us to think for ourselves. It just feeds lazy minds and teaches them to obey and consume.

While on the internet, I use AdBlocker... when I see a commercial, I don't wanna see it again. besides, on the internet you can get the right information about 10x faster than anywhere else.

I think people who hate commercials are normal. People who like them... are not.

1 thing, there is only 12 hours in a day not including night which is 24 hours so are you telling me that you watch tv every hour of the day and only sleep for 4 hours. i'm sorry i don't believe that. and my dad doesn't like commercials either he changes the channel or takes that time to go to the bathroom or get a snack or maybe just rest. but why would commercials ruin your marriege and prevent you from getting a job. you are just using that as an excuse to be lazy so stop fakin and get bakin.

i live in canada and i hate the boston pizza commercial where they go 'oh ya' omg i hate those commercials! and i hate the commercials with the girl that puts the pics on the computer, she sounds like a retard!!!! and i hate the wal mart commercials with that fat guy that does the paper towel commercials. ok thanks for letting me vent

Honestly, do what I did and cancel cable and download your shows you want to watch VIA a torrent site. For example, I like this show but I don't want to sift thorugh all of the crap to watch it and would perfer to watch it when I want and not because its on tv now instead of later.

Just download your shows and also, TV in general sucks ass now and shows in todays time pretty much suck ass.

I love commercials! They're GRRRRRRRRRREAT! That's my fave commercial of all time right there. What a genius came up with that; Tony the Tiger....GRRRRRRRREAT! Seriously, dude, we don't live in a democracy. Those commercials are your leaders. They own you...they own your Congress. They own your legislative branch, your judicial branch and your executive branch. It's called "oligarchy." Oligarchy = Leadership of the Privileged Few. We're all just modern day serfs; peons.

So enjoy your commercials! They're magically delicious!

Simple: DONT WATCH TV

If it bothers you that bad then the shows you watch must not be worth it, right?

I watch maybe two hours of tv a week, so yes while the commercials are extremely loud (which personally i think there needs to be a law regulating the volume), i dont watch enough tv to know them all by heart and i put it on mute. well hope this helps.

Simple find the place were they are making the broadcasting the adverts and blow it up u will probs go to jail but at least u wont have to watch adverts :D (i do not support terroism)
