Somewhere along the line, we've forgotten that dogs are animals. They have become quite pampered and the pet industry thanks all of their overindulging owners for making them wealthier. Every department store now has a pet section with pet beds, pet bags etc. There was a time when you kept your dogs outside (because that's were animals belong). Now they're in bed with their owners. Phew. That is abnormal. Dog owners will let their precious mutts lick them in the face, but if you accidentally lose a little saliva while talking, they are grossed out. I don't get it. Have you ever seen the pet owner give their dog a bone, pet him and then prepare dinner for you without washing their hands? Yum. I think I just bit into a dog hair. Gag.
