2 people died today while spraying grafitti in a stormwater drain. I think they got what they deserved. Who is going to see it inside a drain fukin idiots. Grafitti is unsightly and I hate it. Anyone caught doing it should have all their fingers broken.
I wouldn't wish harm to any other human being. However, those who vandalise property, be it private or public, should be made to spend all their spare time for a year cleaning it up. If there is nothing to clean, pick rubish from the countryside. FOR A YEAR. No if's why's or but's.
Hey man, totally agree! It's pointless and their fuckin "work of Art" is proving nothing and it is just an eyesore to look at. And they think its friggen beautful!
As a matter of fact, there is an older building down the road aways and the top section is all grafitti. I'm thinking, "Why even bother to go up there and make it? What a waste!"
Disagree with the lot of ya. Some of the graffiti i think is absolutely fantastic and brings a feel that money can't buy. Some of that stuff that that banksy guy makes is unbelievable.
Its fuked and makes places look like aghetto it should be wiper out along with the dumb cunts that do it. I bet they dont cover their own place in it fukn cunts
wow, you people are so simple minded. Graffiti isn't simply people drawing and writing on walls, its an artists way of expressing a view to the masses.
Its art, they do it in drains so they dont get cought, they might not care that people wont see them there. They just want to express themselfs in there own way. And no they cant draw or paint, thats a different skill. They did not deserve what they got!
I disagree, i think graffiti is a form of expression. It is an art form in its own right. Would you still say that you hate it if it was offically classed as art ? if it was inside a museem would you like it. Whoever says that grafitti is wrong are very narrow minded. There are 2 main characterists that define certain things as art. 1. Tha t the piece is intentionally created- which graffiti is and 2. the piece has an audience. Graffiti most certainly has an audience who actually appreciate it. Apart from you slashing of graffiti what gives you the right to say that soem one actuallt deserved to die!!!! Nodody has roght to say this!
Graffiti is art. Banksy, and Shepard Fairey are both geniuses and innovators of their time. In fact a graffiti artist was the one who designed the Obama campaign. I think there is a lot of room for talent and it's unfortunate that some may not understand what graffiti is all about. It is also foolish that people of no or little talent screw it up to only make a mess.
I'm rather taken back at your casual nature towards human life. If you really believe what you say perhaps you would prefer living under a stringent dictatorship. I don't think we need people like you in America, you're views a just sick.
I think that is a sort of harsh assumption. Yes, graffiti CAN be unsightly, but sometimes it can be beautiful, and while sometimes, it might make a place look more like a "slum" or a "hood" i think that sometimes it can actually liven' up a place, not to mention, graffiti can be described in many different ways. Think, if somebody described a city mural as graffiti would you automatically think "that is awful, whoever did this should have their fingers snapped off" or would you take the time to take it in, it is art, and like a painting, different people perceive it different ways!
Your post is so ignorant first of all why would you be happy two people died. GRAFFITI is lovely its a form of expressionism thats derived from past artisit like Van Gogh, Diego Rivera, and Dali. So if you hate graffiti you hate them. Btw People didnt like Van gogh's work calling it trash until he died then it was a commodity. So basically beauty is in the eye of the beholder but stop sounding like an ignorat person.
B a n k s y ..prole name an' all --- would be an Artist capital 'a' in any medium in any century. As an artist he can't not be aware of the cynical scam he is. He ain't no sink estate hoodie widda glue-fried cerebrum, or if he is he's totally exceptional and either way all he does is prove the rule that grafiti like tats ,n piercin's truly sucks ugly, except in his hands or those equally genuinely talented
Hey good point about nobody ever being able to see it inside the storm drain, just wish that they had thought of that themselves. Most of the time I cannot make out wtf graffiti means when i see it, usually just some made up sounding words.
i used to paint used to get up everywhere on the tracks roads streets if they where painting some where no one could see its just painting for fun when you paint the urge is inside you all the time no matter where you paint yeah its better if its in the open where people can see but even if no one will ever see it it dosnt matter its an urge a drive that keeps you going and we couldnt give a flying f**k if you hated it its for us not you you p**sy
No, SOME graffiti is art, and Banksy is an artist, other then that, it's gang bangers and delinquent layabouts tagging up other peoples property. I'm sorry, but lets not get overly analytical about this.
I live in California and most of the people who go spray painting freeway underpasses and railroad walls are not doing so with the intention of creating some great masterpiece. Trust me.
THATS SWEET! FUCK GRAF-WRITERS. Hopefully they choked on turds in their dying breaths lol. If it's a mural, cool, but 99.99999999999999999999%% of the time it's just fucking stupid egghead cholo or thug-life doucheface scribbling ugly shit all over the place. Have they no sense of aesthetics? they don't notice how ugly they make every city in the country?

i say its a form of art.
Anyway, maybe they were going to make a gang hideout in there and were "putting up the paintings" who knows, most importantly, who cares?

The city started fining the shop keepers for having "graffiti" on their dumpsters and sides of their shop.
Why were the shop owners getting punished for something they didn't do?
These fines also included professionally painted murals on the sides of shop buildings.
So art was made illegal on the streets here in Houston TX. Camera's also went up, and now I feel like I'm in an George Orwellian world.
Do you like this feeling?
