I hate her ex's with so much intensity

Is it normal that i hate my girlfriends ex's with so much intensity, that if i were to see them on the sidewalk i would literally kill them? I dont mean to sound really jealous or crazy, but i just hate them for the way they treated her. Last year my girlfriends best friend died in a car wreck. This is pretty much where it started. Her and her ex "Connery" had been dating on and off for about a year or two, and then on that day he dumped her, knowing that her friend had passed away just hours before he told her that. Then she had another boyfriend named "Jordan," he was the jock type, she met me in the midst of that relationship. Jordan had found out that she was cheating on him with me, and said to her "I bet She is looking down on you wondering what a little w**** you are!" and calling her friend a bunch of names.

i dont have a problem with them personally but, just because they hurt her so bad, i want to beat the living hell out of them.
is it normal to hate them so much?

It is normal to be angry at them and or jealous. But that happened before, you just need to show her what a good boyfriend you are. Be above them and be mature, don't fight but ignore them completely. If they say a bad name to you or your girlfriend again in public or a phone call, i would understand if you hit him in the face.

it's perfectly normal to really dislike your girlfriend's exes.. but knowing youd literally kill them is a little much

hates healthy. Perfectly normal. If you dont hate others who deserve it you may hate someone you shouldn't and hurt them or worse yourself.
