Intriguing. This is clearly a case of 'Racial flykerbulosis'. In 'English', this means that when you see a darker skinned person of another religion, your brain tells you that you hate them. This, of course, results in you hating them.

Obviously this is actually quite common in this modern age. You may find that learning more about the Muslim religion will encourage you to like them more, and not feel the urge to hate.

I don't think this is a case of the race of the person, I think this is a case of their personality, attitude and the way they've been brought up. The colour of someone doesn't change anything about the way they behave, it's their personality and upbringing that do that.

actually, learning more about the muslim religion, or any religion for that matter, makes you hate the adherents to that religion more.

I live in a prodominatly Black/latino area so I know what your talking about and yea I do dislike when their unneccessarily loud.But as for muslims I don't dislike them in anyway, except for the fact that they wear that thing all year round and make me fell hot in the summer.

I am Puerto Rican woman (18) and absolutely none of that bothered me except the part where you said a "normal" black or Latino person. What do you classify as normal? Also from what I've seen growing up "normal" Latinos don't dress or speak white.. Depending on where they grew up and the amount of cultural influnce they had they will not only speak different but also dress different. Another thing is that when people are loud and boisterous it's because they aren't confident and feel that if they speak loudly they will be feared. So if anything you shouldn't hate them but intead feel more confident in yourself knowing that you need by yell to feel confident in the words you are speaking. I think you need to spend some quality time with these people you "hate" and see if after speaking to them you still feel the same way. You might not wanna tell them you hate their race right away tho.. Puerto Ricans are known to carry knives :-P

I understand what you're saying, but in my long years of people watching and observing, I have come to the conclusion that it is all about the nationality... not the race... no the religion... it is all about in which environment a certain community has developed... Any time I feel out of place, I just refer to it as cultural differences, and that it is... People love propaganda and would go ahead and call it racism... but it is not... racism is a big big word! The color of a persons skin has nothing to do with their manner, unless they go out of their way to cling to social habits society deems "Theirs" (I.e. Black people and rap, ghettos etc..). The only difference between a black and a white person is a difference in the levels of melanin present in their skin.

Typical loud American black people are annoying. Really annoying, I agree with you there. But you have to remember that there are also millions of loud, annoying white people too. If you get to meet one of these 'annoying' black people, and then decide you hate them, fair enough. That's your opinion. You'll still get labelled as a racist, because that's the way of this world today. Go against the 'Sun' newspaper reading groups and you will be bullied by the people who are ironically trying to promote fairness and equality.

However if you are simply hating them because they are black, that my friend, is a naive and extremely uneducated view to have. I read a comment above that said you are too young to properly understand. Assuming you are actually a teenager, I was exactly the same. The problem is you here stories now at my age about asylum seekers taking money, blacks stabbing white men and you can make your own, detailed and normally accurate conclusion. At your age, as intelligent as you may we be, you simply become brain-washed into becoming racist, and that's not your fault it's the media and the influence of peers and whatnot.

Just try and keep the most unbiased and open-minded view possible until you have lived a little. You WILL regret being labelled as a racist as you grow up, that I promise you. You just need to broaden your horizons and get around a little more before making future statements as you have.

I think why that is is because of WHITE PEOPLE! I went to a 99% white school. The black guy in the school was named Steve Black, he was on the basketball team and I'm sure he was really nice. Small town 80 000 people in North Eastern country. And there were loud boisterous people that yelled across halls and pushed younger smaller ones passing by on lockers. I bet they would have been nicer with Puerto Ricans going round with knives, but as it was, they were jerks.
The muslim world is very big, but I can honestly say some of the nicest people I've met were muslims. I used to deliver for Domino's pizzas and an Algerian driver fixed my car for free, he took 5 hours of a really nice sunny Sunday.
But if you want muslims to be nice to you, understand it's a religion of deep compassion.

In my school we have a no cell phone policy and teachers will take it away the instant they even see a glimpse of it.
