I can't stand it when the food on my plate touch each other. I hate having rice sweet peas, and chicken, and there are rice grains in my sweet peas. I cant stand it when i make an oumlet for breakfast, and cheese grits, and the grits ooze over to my oumlet, it irritates me. I'll still eat it but it hurts to see it, and the weird thing is if food are meant to be mixed together its fine, macaroni salad, i dont care if the its mixed together. And i hate cold salad dressing, but thats a different story.
Do you think it's normal?

This could simply be a case of obsessive compulsive behavior.
Hey, it all comes out the same hole so deal with it okay.
OMG, I'm totally the same, I often have to have my meat in a seperate plte, because if it goes on the same plateit will get potato on it, or the salad will get tomato sauce on it or something like that!
It sounds like mild Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder but thats not so much of a bad thing OCD is actually quite popular so as long as its not effecting your life in a negative way just smile and get on with it :)

Ps: if you get bored you can always rearrange the cushion the settee (my friend does that to cure her OCD itch)

lol, i do that all the time, never thought it was OCD just thought it looks better.
Why don't you eat out of small bowls?
Like me:P
i think its normal...when i have mashed potato and corn i hate when the corn gets on my mashed potato...
Lol, i think every second person with a habit gets diagnosed with obsesive compulsive behaviour on this site.
My gf is like this. I think you're both weird.
Hey if you eat Korean food you won't have this problem, all the side dishes come in their own little plate!
it all goes into your stomach anyway...you have OCD
u sound just like the kid in the story "a curious incident of the dead dog at night"
I saw a friend put ketchup on salad recently. Yuk.

However when it's all shoved in a burger it's fine.

Also, who'd eat ice cream with a burger? Not many people. But a shake is ok, and that's just like melted ice cream.

It's just how we are used to things being presented I guess.
its not abnormal. u're just little picky that way. nothing to worry about.
