I thought i was immune to ..."highness"... But one good rip from a 8ft bong got me coughing like crazy. I was...HIIIiiiigh Sooo HIiigh :) ... The key is to get him to cough till tears build up in his eyes... Lol N not to encourage...No i encourage. Marijuana is the plant from the gods.

I can't fry off acid or shrooms. Pot I get high as can be. Speed, up for days. Booze drunk as a skunk. But LSD and mushrooms have zero effect on me. Tried acid 3 times and while my friends were tripping hard, I noticed zero effect. Same with mushrooms twice brewed into tea, then chewed them till they were mush. Again my buds were out there and there I was having to make sure they didn't fly away So yeah. Normal ish I guess

Ya it's normal because he's NOT INHALING! I didn't get high the first 2 or 3 times I smoked because I wasn't inhaling. Just let him know he has to actually inhale. How my friend explained it was you sip it in like your drinking something and then when the smoke is still in your mouth, take in a big breath of fresh air with the smoke. He will get high as a kite for his first time.

It's also possible that he is high and he's just lying to you saying he's not to try and look cool.

I have no idea, my ex always had this problem. Only rarely, when smoking a bong would he actually get high. I almost feel like he had a psychological block against it or something, he tried it once and convinced himself it didn't work for him or something.. I didn't get high til the third time I smoked.

He claimed to be inhaling, but I always felt like he wasn't pulling it in deeply enough... either that or he was just immune to it, or had a natural tolerance or something.

you have to inhale a big hit and hold it for awhile. at least 15 seconds but maybe half a minute would be better. or at least that's what i've heard from those disgusting hippies.

He could be on other prescription drugs that he isn't telling you about. I don't know what my roommate is on exactly, but it is a variety of Rx drugs for her bipolar disorder. She can't get high while taking her meds even if she smokes a whole lid.
