I'm in the same situation as you, right in this time. I'm really shy at school and a boy I hardly know has a crush on me. I don't know how I feel but I sorta feel flattered to be liked by a boy who noticed me. I don't want to stand out at school so I can't be in that relationship with him. I'm confused too. If you think you want to be in that relationship even if you'll stand out then go for it. I can't because I'm peer pressured into refusing him. My friends think he's not right for me and they don't know my feelings.

I've been here bought the t-shirt... in fact I'm still in that situation. My advice is to perhaps open your social circle a little - join clubs, go to open parties that you're mates are going to and ask your friends for introductions to their other friends... in fact ask your friend to introduce you to this nice '1234', believe me guys are shy at heart and really appreciate this sort of thing. There's no shame in liking someone that you haven't really met, it's just animal insticts or chemistry etc. However, try to keep an open mind - don't get too taken with him until you've got to know him better - if he isn't worth your trouble, you won't be able to realise it when looking through rose-tinted glasses.
Remember, you're in high school - you have your whole life to 'grow into' your social abilities - at least this is the (quite true) excuse I'm using for myself anyway :)
Hope this helped x

Everyone wants to feel wanted and loved so thats normal, but in the end its all really up to YOUR feelings to decide, you should talk to him to get to know him better.

You sound a bit shy and understated, which is charming in itself considering how vain & self centred some in high school can be. Its normal to feel flattered and be interested in someone who likes you.

You are really confused. You have feelings for this guy, but you say you can't like him because you haven't spoken to him.

These are two different things and often have nothing in common.

Your feelings are pure emotions. Your logic is pure reason. Two differnet parts of the brain, you see.

I can't speak for women, but guys instantly understand this distinction. It's letting the little head think for the big one, if you catch my drift.

Break the spell. Go talk to the guy. Maybe he will be a jerk, and you will be instantly free to have a crush on someone else.

On the other hand, maybe he really will be your dreamboat, and all this time you are hesitating will be forever lost.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

He who hesitates is lost.

A stitch in time saves nine.

Get while the getting's good.

Speak now or forever hold your peace. Amen.

It is pretty normal... A guy likes me and after knowing it, sometimes it makes me wonder if i like him too' Before that, i don't have any feelings for him. It was only after knowing that he likes me. He kept appearing in my mind. And only after awhile, i realised, i don't like him at all.... So it could be because you are just shocked that someone likes you, and hence this reaction. It is OKAY.

It really sounds to me like you are lonely and have esteem issues.

If the guy likes you, don't overdo it but talk to him. If YOU think you are pretty, but nothing special, then primp a little and get yourself looking like a Real hottie.

Above all, look in a mirror and ralize that You ARE special! If a guy thinks so, then why should you not. Let the beauty of you shine through.
