For more than 20 years I have heard a rumbling sound in my right ear whenever I touch my left foot. Is this normal?
Do you think it's normal?

Rumbling? Um, I don't think so...

Do you hear it in your left ear when you touch your right foot?
I get that exact same thing whenever I play certain notes while playing my guitar or bass.
Strangely, no. I don't hear the sound in my left ear when I touch my right foot.
I am guessing that's the sound of your heartbeat that you are hearing.

In certain position, people can hear their heartbeat. Especially when bending down (as you described) when blood rush through your head.

You might want to check your blood pressure, hear, or any blood circulation related part of your body....it might a high blood pressure problem.....
