I girl I knew in high school recently married a guy I knew really well (and despised). Of course, he's rich and very well respected in the community. Every morning on Facebook, she posts about whatever exotic locations she is visiting, the features of the resort whee she is staying, what high-class this and that she has visited or done or is driving. Funny... she never posts about her husband.

Murder him, it'll give you that confidence boost you need!

Never compare yourself to another, my gosh be proud you have a bachelors!! That is great!! You just need to love and respect yourself :)

I agree with emilydoll. Its not good to compare yourself, because you're obviously gonna find flaws in yourself that will probably drive you nuts. And you'll find flaws, because people who compare themselves, are comparing themselves for a reason, insecurities. And no matter how tiny some of those flaws may be, when you're insecure, you'll find them. I know this, because I've done it before, and I've felt the same way as you before.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Stop wishing you were that guy. And a bachelors is great to have! You're just not over your ex yet. Give it time. Maybe you'll find someone better. And just because he's rich and has a PhD, doesn't mean he's any better than you as a person. You might not have the best background, but you might have a lot of other things about you that are just as amazing, that your ex might've been blind to see, but someone else will. Don't worry!! However the pieces may fall, they're gonna fall into place the way they're meant to.

Don't concentrate so much on her and whats going on in her life. And who cares about that new guy shes with. She obviously went out with you too at one point, so something must've drawn her in. Nothing is wrong with you, trust me. Just have more confidence.

She went for the money, from the sound of it. Just know it's her loss going with a man she doesnt really love.
