I have a tendancy to be alone most of the time . In fact, I do hang out with bunch of friends on a weekly and sometimes daily basis but mostly I adore being alone especially with the presence of distractions like satelite and internet . I even bet that i can manage to stay weeks alone . Is that natural ? . By the way, sometimes, I feel so dejected when alone . Please comment on whether you find it fine or not, and if not, give some clues and advice .

im so like that too.. i hope its normal cuz i love being alone more then with friends most the time

I agree, being alone can be great. Sometimes I like to go out on a stormy night and walk in the woods, but I'd never do this with another person. Being alone is just so relaxing to me.

I'm the same way, being alone can be very nice sometimes, but if I'm alone too often I get really sad and depressed.

You're perfectly normal. Most people love to hang out with others but occasionally would like sometime alone, that's just the way it is. You just happen to like being alone more than others, this just means you're more of the introvert type. Nothing wrong with you, mate.

thats exactly how i am.
i mean i have alot of friends and stuff but i'd rather stay at home alone with a book and a computer then go out.
none of my friends are like that tho.

im the same
the only time im not really alone is when im with my girlfriend
shes the only person i can stand being around
i just like to be alone
i always go to the gym on my own my friends always want to come with me so i can train them but i dont like it

its probably not agood thing but its the way we are so i guess its normal

It's called 'introversion'. I'm an introvert as well.

In any case, for more information, you like to be distracted, and personality tests are fairly distracting :) You should try this Jungian typology test and see if what you find out interests you:

I also like being alone and doing things alone. Being alone helps my creativity. I can go for long periods being more or less alone (my family going about their own business around the house), but that makes it easy for me to get sucked into depression. I get out of the house occasionally so that I don't seem like a complete weirdo!

I think maybe you have a scizoid personality like me, and it's not really any problem, I love the night because I can stay up for like 7 hours on my own on the internet, no one else around. Only problems with it are I can't really keep a relationship because I get pissed off with seeing them so often.
