Art is something that catches the eye of the viewer and illustrates something that some may never notice or appreciate. The female form, for example is filled with curves and soft bends and all sorts of beautiful things that people don't normally have the opportunity to view and appreciate. Same goes for the male body, except instead of curves, there are more ridges and sharper edges. Same concept though. As for the erotic aspect of it, I don't think that there's a rule that says that you can't lust over erotic or nude art. I think that in lusting over it, you're showing appreciation to the appealing aspects of the art. Obviously there is nude art there that is not meant for this, but there definitely is some nude art out there where lusting over it is approptiate. Many of the greatest artists in history idolized the human form as the greatest of all creations by God. And like yourself they focused a lot on the strength and expressions of the nude human form.
