That is compulsive behavior that is not a good sign. I used to do it all the time in school when I couldn't wait to get out of class. Do not wear a watch and sit in school where it is hard to view the clock. Besides this, I don't know what to tell you. Just a guess, but I bet you have other compulsive habits too.

I do it as well, some tutors are just 2 boring.

You have to make a constant effort to not check the time. I used to flag for ten hour days, and I would check the time about every 5 minutes if I didn't stop myself, the day just went so slowly.

The more you look at the clock, the slower the time goes. Avoid clocks, get rid of your watch, leave your cell alone.

Try to replace the habit with something else. Every time you get the compulsion to look at the clock, start doing multiplication tables in your head or count down from 100 or if you're not in class do some push ups. With compulsions it's best to replace them with another, healthier, habit.

I check every so often for "time pallindromes" eg. 11:11 or 13:31 etc. But that's ok because I'm insanely odd.
