Yea, it's normal, Journey are pretty sweet. don't really get rap ('cept Eminem), but Death metal's cool, especially if you're in a bad mood and want to make angry noises at somethin : ) ever hear of In Flames?

i think musical diversity is important, I listen to journey and disco and metal and showtunes and 90's pop and classical and even a little Beck.. but overall favorites got to be Avenged Sevenfold and System of a Down

Hahaha, I listen to rap, then showtunes... heavy metal then R&B. TONS of Journey too. Don't consider this to be abnormal, MY iTunes is probably something to worry about on the other hand...

don't consider yourself weird because your diverse with your music, if anything it makes you less weird than someone who worships one genre of music

Yep. It's definitly normal... I mostly listen to (all types) rock. But JOURNEY is really awesome:)

Lots of good pre pop rock era guitar groups.

For some extra spice go back another ten years or so and sample some psychedelic. Before my music time but some of it is cool - 1966-69. I don't like the sitar stuff though.

Newer groups like Maroon 5 and old green day depending on my mood. New Age to mellow out too...zzzzzzzzz...

It's very normal to like various types of music. And Journey is a good group that I've liked for the last 30 years of my life. They appeal to all different age groups across all walks of life. Good music is good music. Like what you like. Listen to what you like. It's all good.
