Is it normal that when I get really ill, I become super creative. I have recently been treated with Tamiflu.. I feel horrible, but last night I drew the best sketch of a cat I have ever done! I have also had an erge to build things out of the many cardboard boxes I have in my living room, although I feel way too sick to do anything but draw. I can't think of a good explanation for why this keeps happening, help please! Thanks, CasualCutie. xx

well i can only draw when i am high.
im not saying make yourself sick on purpose though. we all have hidden talents. make use of yours.
Er...cool? Hehe I don't know why it's like that for you, but I'm similar in a way. I get really creative late at night. Hope you get better soon - or not yet depending on how creative you want to be I suppose lol.
pretty cool.. lol
Maybe in some way being that ill is helping you to tune out the world and dull the right half of the brain that keeps telling you how your art should look or what you know what it should look like.

So I'm guessing that in your case, when you're ill, it helps you get in tune with the half of your brain that sees and feels rather than the logical half that thinks or problem solves, and that's why you're drawing better when you're sick. Maybe. I don't know.

If that's true then there's good news: There are easier ways to get in touch with that part of your brain that don't require Tamiflu.
Look up "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" by Betty Edwards.
Okay, wait, I meant the LEFT half of your brain... I get confused sometimes.
