I make my ex boyfriend hurt me

My ex-boyfriend does not love me. He doesn't even live in the same town anymore. But whenever he is in town to see his parents, I call him, demand he sees me, demand he sleeps with me, and neither of us talk until he is in town again. I cry because he sleeps with me and then leaves. But I continually initiate the same process that leaves me depressed and alone. We've been split for over a year and I still try(?) and make something work between us, even if it's just meaningless sex for him.
Do you think it's normal?

what exactly are you getting out of doing that? you're the one initiating it, maybe next time he comes to town you should think twice before you give him that bootycall. obviously he doesnt care about you yet doesn't mind having sex w/ you, nothing more. so whats the point? just move on! theres other fish in the sea.

Find another guy and then the urge to hook up with the ex will fade. Your problem is a lack of confidence to get involved with someone else and you have a problem letting go. Sex with an ex would be ok if it felt right, both before and after, but in your case it is wrong, it is only causing you misery so cut it out. Hook up with someone else.

remember how you met him... and when you loved him and he loved you? SOMEONE else is out there who is going to love you and enjoy building a relationship with you so that you are not just having sex anymore. it is not this EX and it may not be the next guy either but if you keep treating yourself like crap letting this other guy use you, you are only gonna be messed up and miss the right guy. Take care of you... be proud to ignore him, it will get easier after just letting go once. and you can work on you inside so that the kind of guy who will take care of you will see you for more then sex or how you look now.
