Its hard to imagine many jobs that require little formal training/qualifications & are interesting and offer career paths. There are some -usually for people with a particular interest, but not many. So I think looking at school is a good idea. Give up the car if need be. Or keep the job and do school part time. Lots of options these days. Do your research. Whatever goal you set, realise that 5 years are going to go by whether you do anything or not. An example is a friend got an expensive certificate in a cooking school and was quite good at it, but overlooked having to work on his feet for 12-14 hours/day. He is now back in school at 40 YO. Many technical jobs have hard deadlines you must meet, for another example. Pressure x 100! At 19, I was completely confloosed, too. You may have to give-up your weekends to afford your choice, but sometimes sacrifices must be made. This is something you must decide. I'm also 19, and I haven't made any career oriented choices.
