I have the same habit of regretting much of what I do. I always think of how I should have acted and how much better it would be right now had I done it that way but in reality it is kind of stupid to think like that. Some things I have regretted so badly that I can't forget them, which is pretty annoying. But combat girl's comment is pretty good advice for over-regretting things.

Im a dealer as my carrear choice, and Im neer your age. I understand were you are coming from and would like to advise to you to choose life. Ive always just ballanced drugs, school, family and friends. And if somthing gets out of wack, I simply go clean for a few weeks, and look at my life. Self control is what you must have. If you cant control yourself, dont use drugs. If you are of a sane mental status and can control your urges, then its up to you. Ive always enjoyed them tho

I do that, I thinka bout how the scenario could change, how it should have been changed and how the outcome would have changed if the scenario chaned...hope I havem't lost you.

I think you should look back and think to yorslf 'What I did was for the best and I will alter on see the positive outcome in the future' That way you can see the positive side. Plus you can only learn from you're mistakes, it's better to learn than to repeat.

You can be a pothead without abusing weed. That's what I do. Don't smoke if you need to work.

I used to be just like you, but I discovered a few ways to deal with such feelings. One, view yourself as a weird person. When you walk away from a conversation thinking "Wow, I probably sounded really stupid", stop, and think "well, I am a weird person and I say weird things." Next, view other people as foolish. That way, you will not care about what they may have thought about whatever you said. Last, do not say anything you are not convinced of, and say everything you are convinced of. You could not possibly have any regrets if you ingrain these things into your mind.

never forget the past. it may be the only way to not make the same mistake again. things we do are done because we don't think ahead. regret is one way of staying humble and trying to netter yourself. never give up and try to make what you do next a good thing

Its normal to want to change things you've done/said. But the harsh reality is you can't, you have to learn from your mistakes, not dread over them. I'd forget about the past, the future. And focus on what is happening right now.
