I find hypocrisy in many situations. I can't stop observing it. It drives me up a wall. Much of humanity does anyway, so no surprise. But my mind is quite unlike many, so I see things not a great majority see.
No. It's not normal and the only one your hurting is yourself. It seems to me that you are obsessed with other peoples imperfections.
Pay more attention to your own imperfctions, such as the one where you consistantly find the faults of others.
I can understand your mind over-analyzing hypocrisy. I have the same problem, albeit I read into people too much. So honestly, I can't tell you what to do. If you figure out something that helps, let me know.
good for you mate, lots of people go through life without pausing to think about why it is that many of us do the things that we do. And of the few that do think of this matter, even fewer truly realize the hypocrisy behind human behavior and effort. For example, the supposed relationship that we've come to associate with money and success in life.
Anyhow I did not come here to profess my wisdom (see what I did there?) nor did I come here to agree with you that life is full of hypocrisy. Rather I'd like to ask, is it worthwhile knowing that such hypocrisy exists when not even one of us will do anything about it?
I agree with the poster. I don't think it's abnormal whatsoever. There is so much hypocrisy in life and most people are hypocrites in one way or another.
Why should I? I'm truly not a hypocrite. I mean what I say and do what I say I'll do 99.9% of the time. The only exceptions are circumstances beyond my control and/or unconscious acts of hypocrisy. End of story.
I'm glad you recognize hypocrisy, but don't let it consume you. Don't be so surprised to find that life is full of stupidity since the majority of humans are, in as simple of a way to put it, stupid.

Still, learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of others, but that's no reason to be "driven up the wall" about it.
