I would say try to radiate confidence. Stand up straight, keep your head up, walk "heels first."

If you must go somewhere, try to bring someone with you.

It's also so obvious that I probably don't even need to say it but be sure that you're not attracting attention because of what you wear. And not just skimpy clothes--avoid flashy jewelry or too much make-up. People should be able to wear whatever they want (within reason), but unfortunately some freaks really can't control themselves.

Fleabitten I really understand what ur saying about the cloths and jewlery thing. The problem is I think that might be contributing to the problem because Im a really creative person and I like to wear colorful (nontacky lol) cloths and interesting earrings not slutty just expressive. It kinda sux that us women cant wear what we want without men automatically thinking we want there attention...seriously. MEn are such slobs sometimes I want to put on a muslim garb and call it a day. Im not asking for much just show me some respect Gosh!

Im a guy and i disagree. I have a lot of friends who have been hurt by girls, over 20 and i have only 1 single friend who was hurt by a guy. i think men are steriootyped and women are very hurtful too. O and btw i eat my own turds.

why is that all women think all men are dogs?not all of us are bad. i must agree most men are dillweeds. but that doesn't mean we want in your pants all the time. i have fallen prey to the thoughts, i will not lie, but if i'm talking to a girl its because i want to know her, what happens after that is up to the girl. maybe you should stop hanging in spots with lame guys. or just ignore em, they can't touch you cause you can just yell "assault!" and the world would be on them.
