I want Love, is because I fear I'll die before it happens.

So get this, its takes us a lot to grasp the concept that we will die. And we are temporary creatures. Besides thinking "I am 19 and never been" as being abnormal, I think about the advice of "waiting for that special person". I compare it to the advice "live for the day". I am afraid if tomorrow isn't a promise, i would die before i get to experience love.
Is it normal?

I'm afraid I'll live till I'm the ripe old age of 80 or something and I'll always be in some kind of one-sided love

i think that fear is a good thing up to a point, though too much fear breeds either anger or despair. we can use fear as a sort of motivation forwards.
